November 2 – 5, 2023: Hi PerformanCZ: Visitors’ Program Puppet Productions

Dramaturges, artistic directors, cultural managers, critics, researchers, artists and other performing arts professionals are invited to take part in the Hi PerformanCZ: Visitors’ Program Puppet Productions. The Visitors’ Program will take place on November 2 – 5, 2023 in Prague in cooperation with the One Flew over the Pupeteer’s Nest festival organised by the Czech UNIMA Centre and Loutkář/Puppeteer Magazine.

The program will also include an international conference European Puppetry Tradition – Is It Still Alive? organised by:

Research Institute of Alternative and Puppet Theatre and Theatre in Special-Needs Groups at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague
Research Commission of UNIMA
Association for the Support of Puppetry Traditions
Loutkář/Puppeteer Magazine
Czech UNIMA Centre

Free accommodation and local transport, tickets for shows and accompanying program will be provided for selected participants. Come and see performances with English subtitles, discussions with artists and production teams, lectures, presentations and visits to venues in Prague. Let’s exchange contacts and to initiate cooperation with Czech professionals.
