Theatre World Brno is one of the largest theatre festivals in the Czech Republic and is a unique combination of the cooperation of the National Theatre Brno, Husa na provázku Theatre, Municipal Theatre Brno, Radost Theatre, Polárka Theatre and JAMU art scenes. It brings to Brno a delicate selection of foreign productions and the best of Czech theatre for the year. The Theatre World Brno festival is several days packed with great drama, chamber projects, dance productions, site-specific performances, accompanying programme and events for professionals. Each year the festival is filled with performances that fall into recurring dramaturgical lines, as well as productions reflecting current social issues and documentary works dedicated to some of the theatre personalities who have become a phenomenon in their field.
