Theatre of Slovácko | Perform Czech

It is located in the heart of Slovácko in Uherské Hradiště. It started its activity in 1945. Every year the theatre stages six new productions on the main stage of the Large Stage, one on the Small Stage and every other year a new fairy tale is added to the titles. The company also works with respected theatre personalities. The theatre also tries to reach out to those groups of spectators for whom visiting a traditional theatre building is not a regular habit, but who nevertheless find the presented theme something to say. For such an audience, an alternative dramaturgical line, Sloffácké divadlo, has been created, which offers a unique connection between non-traditional places and the theme of the productions.
