Športniki | Perform Czech

The Czech-Slovenian Športniki Theatre was founded in January 2011 in Maribor. The ensemble is made up of graduates of the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at the DAMU in Prague and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana. For their first production "Back to Bullerbyn" they won the prestigious and only Czech puppetry award Erik for the most inspiring work of the year. They claim to be the best athletes among actors and the best actors among athletes.
