Since its humble beginnings in 2002, the Fringe has grown in both size and popularity. A heady mix of theatre, comedy, music, dance, storytelling and good times at venues across the Malá Strana district of Prague.
Taking place annually in May, Prague Fringe is a six-day performance festival showcasing the work of hundreds of artists from all over the globe in a variety of traditional, and some not-so-traditional(!), venues in the historical centre of one of the world's most beautiful cities.
Each year around 150 performances of around 40 different shows are on offer, running from late afternoon into the night. The Fringe Club - the meeting point for audience members, performers and festival staff - continues into the early hours for those who have the stamina!
