National Moravian-Silesian Theatre

The National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava was established in July 1919 as a permanent Czech professional theatre and is made up of ballet, drama, opera and operetta artistic ensembles. The Theatre has two buildings: the Antonin Dvořák Theatre (517 seats) and the Jiří Myron Theatre (665 seats). The theatre annually stages 16 - 19 premieres in both buildings each season.
