Drama Revue (Divadelní revue) is a peer-reviewed theatrological journal open to interdisciplinary approaches and perspectives from related humanities disciplines. It is published twice a year by the Arts and Theatre Institute, editorially prepared and the professional level is guaranteed by the Czech Theatre Studies Department. The journal was founded in 1989. It brings methodologically grounded contributions that represent diverse approaches to the interpretation of theatre and performativity, including overlaps with anthropology, sociology, philosophy, aesthetics, linguistics and art history. In addition to scholarly studies by local and international scholars, it also includes material and archival contributions, essays, interviews, reviews, and reports on current events in the field.
