Barka Barrier Free Theatre

Barka Theatre is an open cultural space in Brno. The theatre has wheelchair access to the stage and auditorium. This intimate theatre scene aims to be a motivational space for minority, integrated, amateur, student and modern cultural activities. This not-so-traditional theatre space with a capacity of 150 seats is run by the civic association League of Wheelchair Users. A major difference from most theatres is that BARKA Theatre does not have its own theatre company, but acts as a provider of facilities and organiser of festivals for companies, some of which the theatre has been working with for a long time.
