Will the lighthouse keeper succeed in returning calm to the sea?
Tin, Lighthouse & Fish is an audiovisual story about an adventurous journey that takes place on the water and below the surface, featuring the sea, its inhabitants and a lot of sand.
About the company
A puppet theatre company founded in 2022 at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU), R405 focuses on visual and audiovisual puppet and object theatre without words. The company’s work to date has primarily explored the contrasts between the human scale and nature, directing attention to the natural environment and its narrative potential. Imagery and sound play a strong role in R405’s productions: the company uses the entire set design as a musical instrument, creating a narrative line through sound. Its projects explore how ecological themes can be conveyed through puppet theatre. In imparting the story to the audience, R405 works with indirectness and “free space,” creating room for imagination, audience interpretation, and the immersive atmosphere of an imaginative world.
