obr

. tektoparty is a participatory excursion that bridges geological and artistic disciplines to activate new perspectives on the workings of our bodies, the body of society and the body of the Earth. The partner of this choreographed walk is the Earth itself and our human understanding of it.

. tektoparty is a walk through places that will be familiar to many who regard them as one of the most beautiful parts of the Prague landscape, as well as an internationally significant site belonging to the Barrandien. These are spaces for the layering of time, perceptions and information. An opportunity to experience elements of the landscape with all the senses, if you allow yourself to do so.

In this work of ecological performance art, the artists, audience and environment take part in an emancipated, creative dialogue that serves as a prototype for the disruption of society’s hierarchical structures and the anthropocentric worldview.

For all ages.

The production was first created for the Hlubočepské Plotny site, the former Vysoká quarry, which is now the lectostratotype of the Třebotov limestones. The area is part of a nature reserve of European importance and belongs to the geologically world-renowned Barrandien site.
