Love from TikTok

Jack and Sienna used to be TikTok influencers, each of them having over 10 million followers. Both were America’s teenage darlings. In a plethora of videos, they show so much affection that some of their followers begin to doubt whether they are really a couple in private. In 2021, a friend of Jack’s publishes a post on Twitter in which he accuses Sienna of sexually assaulting Jack. Whose side is the truth on? Who manipulates whom, who abuses whom? A theatrical probe into the intimate life of two teenage influencers who threw themselves into a crazy, exciting relationship because their public fancied it.

About the company

Polárka is a professional theatre for children and youth, based in Brno since 1999. It focuses on children from the youngest ages up to high school and university students.
Its repertoire covers many different forms and genres of theatre in order to give young spectators the widest possible overview of what “theatre” can mean. Polárka calls itself the spectator’s “guide to theatre adulthood”, striving to cultivate youth’s relationship to theatre as a specific form of art and expression. It tries to teach them to recognise true artistic quality and to reflect it consciously. At the same time, the intention is to use the language of theatre to communicate important topics to children and young people in a comprehendible form, to support them in their orientation in the world.
Polárka offers plays as well as different kinds of programmes for young children and their families, for teenage spectators, as well as for adults. You may watch an imaginative fairy tale as well as an “adult” drama, and Polárka also produces special events for many different opportunities, often based on their theatre music group Polaris.
