I’ll make a hole
so I can stick out of it
I wonder who will trip
I’ll Make a Hole So I Can Stick Out of It is an authorial object theatre production. A short poetic insight into natural processes, it offers quiet encounters and seeds of conflict in a community of objects: the Patrol, the Locomotive, the Pipe, the Whale, the Stand, the Forest Clearing, the Nest, Paws, several kinds of Ladles, three Antennae, the Prison, Berta, the Swing, the UFO, the Puddle, the Restless Eggs, and the Flower-Moon.
Where does the Forest Clearing go? How far does it spread?
How long does it take to fish the Nest out of a plugged Puddle?
How can you exchange a look with a Patrol who’s lost an eye?
The Pipe sings a lullaby, the Locomotive lives in the Prison, the Whale lays eggs and is a little upset. Do not disturb the Antennae. Catch a feather, prepare the kettle and – carefully now – we need to mark out a landing area for the Flower-Moon.
