From the Ashes | Perform Czech

The performance was created from collective improvisations and visual, sound and performative experiments without a predefined form. Each of the creators enters the play with a completely different approach and skills. Object theatre and a hypnotic concert, From the Ashes is an abstract spectacle emerging from the darkness. The theatre space itself becomes the puppet. It erupts from nothing, or perhaps not even from that. It’s in the dark, in the fog, in the silence. Even that is too much. It flashes between sightings… it wobbles, shakes and swallows. Unnoticed forever, somewhere here… Then it’s written that it rises from the ashes, but that’s a lie.

About the company

Erorr Cult is an artist collective brought together by accident. Faults and mistakes are also essential in our creative process. We create and explore across various artistic and scientific fields. We focus on producing performances, concerts, objects, designs, paintings, audiovisual installations, etc. A mutual and collective process filled with curiosity and play is central to our work.
