An interactive, nonverbal performance full of lights, sounds, atmospheres and moods.
Red and green. Purple! Orange? Let’s combine purple and blue to create the blue depths of the sky! Add some yellow to the blue and you have the colour green. The world of COLOURS will reassure you, take you by the hand and say, ‘Come, everything is just as it should be.’ Yellow is joyful and fun. White is silent. Black is the nothingness that comes when the Sun sets. But there’s some sparkle in it! The world of colour is vibrant and full of endless possibilities.

About the company

Bajka has been the professional puppetry ensemble at Těšín Theatre since 2008, sharing the space with Czech and Polish ensembles. Bajka regularly performs in its home venue and across the region, on both sides of the Czech-Polish border, preparing performances in both Czech and Polish.

Originally established in 1948 as an amateur theatre group composed primarily of teachers, Bajka initially performed for Polish children in the region of Silesia, in the north-east of the Czech Republic, which is home to a Polish minority.

Bajka now collaborates with many interesting artists, directors, musicians, stage designers, and puppeteers, including significant figures in the Czech puppet theatre, bringing joy and artistic experiences not only to children, but to all generations.
