The master and his life and music and death, or how a work from a remote Moravian village conquered the world – the three Leoš Janáček characters (as a boy, as a young man, as a mature man) and six women laid out in the form of stories of very laughable loves, reveal their hearts, desires and disappointments. The impetus for the new Goose on a String Theatre project was the personality of the renowned music and opera composer Leoš Janáček, who spent a large part of his creative life in Brno. In collaboration with the music scholar and composer Miloš Štědroň, a year-round cycle of discussions with leading experts on the works of Leoš Janáček was implemented. The culmination of the project is the staging of the play inspired by Leoš Janáček’s life story and his work in particular.
