11TH EDITION OF THE 13+ FESTIVAL IN THE V DLOUHÉ THEATRE

In January, the 11th edition of the theatre showcase not only for teenagers Festival 13+ offered a series of inspiring and revealing productions created for the specific age group by professional theatres out of Prague in the past year.

The program featured the Petr Bezruč Theatre in Ostrava with Tomáš Dianiška’s Transky, body, vteřiny, inspired by the scandalous life story of a Czechoslovak athlete. Another stable participant in our festivals – Drak Theatre from Hradec Králové – arrived with the production The Road, inspired by Jack Kerouac’s famous novel On the Road and other cult works of American literature. The New Stage from Bratislava presented an impressive performance of Home – Where is Yours? Inspired by the novella written by the Danish writer Janne Teller’s. The program also featured the Polárka Theatre’s new performance In the Name of the Republic and Krkonoše Pilgrimage, inspired by Karel Hynek Mácha’s short story in the Naïve Theatre Liberec.
