I’m Steve, and this is Ian. We’re in the same boat, riding the waves of the late ‘70s, ruled by sex, drugs and disco. Amidst all that, we have a big dream – a dream of a music club that shatters boundaries and redefines what freedom means.

The dream of Studio 54, an oasis of wild decadence and diverse creatures who found in that unique space the freedom to erase social divides and indulge in the pleasures and ecstasy of life together. Because you never know – it might be the last time! Get ready for a dazzling party! Expect bizarre and moving scenes, delicious drinks and ruthless paparazzi watching your every step.

About the company

DEKKADANCERS is a project-based dance company from Prague. Established in 2009 as a sister company to the Czech National Ballet, the group became an independent dance company in 2015. DEKKADANCERS has created many productions and performances across various genres, from full-length dance productions to diverse projects such as fashion shows, music videos and concerts. The company is led by Štěpán Pechar and Ondřej Vinklát.

Authentically and without condescension, we make dance more accessible to the general public, taking a unique approach to each performance. We take pride in working with the best talent, including musicians, actors and other artists, as well as critically acclaimed dancers and choreographers. DEKKADANCERS’ performances offer the viewer more than just a movement/dance experience; productions are complete theatrical experiences, often accompanied by a specific humour that breaks down the boundaries between audience and performer.
