The contemporary dance company 420PEOPLE and choreographer and dancer Simona Machovičová present a premiere entitled Pulps. The premiere of the dance duet, created especially for the Studio Maiselovka venue, features dancers (Simona Machovičová & Jindřich Panský) performing to live music by Václav Havelka.

“Our paths intersect. Sometimes, only for a moment, but at other times, they merge and never part again. Our innermost emotional layers absorb the energies emanating from our relationships – joy, sorrow, heartbreak, devotion, infidelity, infatuation, abandonment… a cycle. Our inner self fills up like the flesh of a juicy fruit. The shapeless flesh – the pulp – travels through space, wanders through the present like a past memory or a future decision and absorbs us and itself as everyday relationships. It controls us, limits us, and becomes part of ourselves. We are the flesh.”
