A young couple is looking for an apartment, a space for just the two of them, where they can let their love grow. And they succeed. Soon, love is not the only thing that is growing. A child is on the way. It was a mistake to say it’s a problem, that it’s a mistake. They need more money. They need a bigger apartment. They need to ask for help.

A dark comedy full of bosses, apartment dealers, baby bottles and botox. A fight for living space and a larger playground where children can play. The eternal struggle for the right to a place where they can all lay their heads.

About the company

Klicpera Theatre in Hradec Králové is a respected professional theatre with over 130 years of tradition. There has been a professional troupe here since 1949, though the theatre achieved its greatest success after 1989. Klicpera Theatre has been named Theatre of the Year in the Czech Republic four times in the Alfréd Radok Foundation’s prestigious survey. Klicpera Theatre was involved in the founding of the Theatre of European Regions festival.
