Professional independent theatre founded in 2013 in the centre of Olomouc, with a contemporary dramaturgy dedicated to civic engagement and current social issues. It has a non-permanent ensemble of professional actors and actresses with whom it regularly collaborates. The specific mix of production teams and directors creates a unique poetics of the theatre. The scenic realization tends to experiment, to search for new means of communication and reflects current social issues such as nationalism, polarization of society, influence of social networks, feminism, national identity, stereotyping of historical idols and environmental grief.

In addition to repertory work and other activities, Theatre na cucky also organizes the summer festival of new circus Cirkuzkus.
