Nová síť is a service organisation supporting the performing arts and open culture. It actively creates opportunities for collaboration between the Czech regions, Prague, and places abroad; improves communication between stakeholders in cultural life and public administration; and strives for the decentralization, development, and cultivation of a civil society in the Czech Republic. Nová síť fills the gap between public administration, state-funded organisations, and individual stakeholders in cultural life. The main projects of Nová síť are the Malá Inventura Festival (a festival of new theatre), the Czech Culture Network Nová síť (consisting of more than 30 organisations), and ART-IN-RES (an online platform that facilitates information sharing about artists’ residencies in the performing arts).
