About the Company
Puppet Theatre Ostrava is a professional company with a stable artistic ensemble, established by the city of Ostrava. Founded in 1953, it moved into a new building in 1999. The theatre’s creations are mainly intended for audiences of children and young people. The theatre also organises the international festival Spectaculo Interesse – a juried showcase of the best puppet performances from around the world.
