Spa is a non-verbal performance set in a spa environment and based on authentic content.
The inspiration for the performance comes from Alžběta Vitvarová’s own experience with part-time jobs in spa establishments and the lifelong career of her grandmother, Marta Karbulová, who worked in Lázně Bělohrad, as well as theatrical research in the spa environment during company visits to spa establishments in Jeseník and Třeboň. The performance draws from the atmosphere of Czechoslovakian new wave cinema of the 1960s. Refuel your stamina and health.
About the Company
Vi.TVOR is a free-form collective focused on the expressive possibilities of artistic theatre, with performances ranging from multi-genre experimental plays to puppet theatre for children. The group’s main focus is the elaboration of family histories.
