“Ping pong panda yin´n´yang – province Szechuan”
Sezuan is a new, original project by Lachende Bestien, based on Bertolt Brecht´s The Good Person of Szechwan, as well as Brecht’s theoretical writings. In Sezuan, four actresses take up Brecht to make a statement about feminism, love, capitalism and living in truth.

About the Company
Theatre company Lachende Bestien was founded in 2011, with a focus on provocative, political theatre that critiques society. Working on topics that are “in the air”, it presents both original performances and interpretations of plays by other dramatists, using a contemporary Brechtian approach of irony and detachment. Lachende Bestien is led by artistic director Michal Hába and is currently in residence at Venuše ve Švehlovce
