We loved the Soviet Union and at the same time were afraid of it. This sarcastic cabaret and dark and fateful grotesque is narrated by Josefa Slánká, a woman who believed in the ideals of communism and ultimately became its victim. A current political play.
About the company
The smallest and youngest of the drama theatres in Ostrava (1994) continues the tradition of small generation theatres and alternatives to traditional theatre in the city. Since 2005 it has been housed in the modern, architecturally interesting space of the library building in the City of Ostrava. With a capacity of 100 seats and more than 160 performances a year, the theatre has more than 15 000 spectators annually.
