Archa.lab has new residents for 2019

Following the two successful editions of the International Summer School, the Archa Theatre created a short-term residencies programme Archa.lab for young international and Czech artists. The open call for this year’s residence programme Archa.lab was interesting for 18 creative teams with seven residencies having been selected.

Young artists from Norway, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Chine and the Czech Republic presented projects based on topics, which arose from a devising method.

This year’s residents will get space, technical and dramaturgic support for the period of 4 weeks maximum. At the end they will present the outcomes of their work in the small hall of the Archa Theatre in the form of the public presentation of “work in progress” with the discussion with the authors.
