Maryša subjects to the mechanisms of society in which she lives, and helps to create. She is a victim of stubbornness and stubbornly insists to be the victim. She is heroine against her will and according to a will of god she becomes a murderess. Is obstinacy, which controls her, hereditary, or is it an expression of strong personality? A murder she commit this morning, is it logical result of circumstances, or moral appeal for the next generation of audience and performers?

About the company

HaDivadlo is an alternative theatre ensemble with a long tradition and a specific view of the world. The theatre was founded in the mid-1970s in Prostějov. Since the beginning it has developed as a theatre of distinctive authorial poetics, demanding dramaturgy and strong creative personalities. Originally called Hanácké divadlo (Hanácké Theatre) it was transformed to HaDivadlo and moved to Brno where it became a part of the Centre for Experimental Theatre ( www.ced-brno.cz ), together with the Theatre Goose on a String and the Theatre at the Table.
