Dance festival in celebration of 100 years of the independent Czechoslovakia foundation

 

The city of Brno joins the countrywide celebrations of the foundation of our state with the festival RE:PUBLIKA 1918–2018

The extensive project is based on several pivotal events with one of them being the Dance Brno 100 festival. The National Theatre Brno has invited dance companies of the Habsburg Monarchy successor states. It is the first time in history the companies of the national theatres of Poland, Slovakia, Serbia, Austria, Slovenia, Ukraine, Croatia, Hungary and the Czech Republic (National Theatre Ballet Prague and National Theatre Ballet Brno) are presented in one place. The National Theatre Ballet Brno opens the festival with the premiere of Amadeus MozArt in the Reduta Theatre.
